Most recently, Cooper joins us from NCSA Athletic Recruiting where she served as the Director of Softball Relations and the Vice President of Softball Sales. Cooper led the softball division and was responsible for sales, marketing and business development, as well as overseeing a team of 10 sales associates.
Prior to her time at NCSA, Cooper worked as an Associate Manager of Events/Digital Operations for ESPN High School, planning and managing high school sporting events, working in business development and assisting with ESPN HS’s digital efforts. In her time at ESPN HS, Cooper managed clients such as Under Armour and Powerade, helped them conceptualize their marketing strategy at the grassroots level, and assisted in the execution of sporting events and digital integrations to help reach their goals. She also was a journalist for the ESPN HS softball website, and created content schedules and managed the extensive softball database.
During softball season, Cooper serves as an analyst for both ESPN and the Big Ten Network, commentating softball games and working in the studio as a softball expert.
In her time at Northwestern, Cooper was a four time letter winner as a member of the softball team at Northwestern University and graduated in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications. In her time at Northwestern she helped her team to two Women’s College World Series appearances was a three-time All-American and three-time Big Ten Player of the Year. Most recently, Cooper was inducted into the Northwestern Hall of Fame, class of 2012. After her time at Northwestern Cooper played professionally in the National Professional Fastpitch League and abroad in the Japanese Professional League.
