About  Getting Involved

The purpose of the Wildcat Fund Parent Partners program is to enhance the communication and engagement between current and past parents of Wildcat student-athletes and Northwestern University, and financially support Northwestern Athletics & Recreation and its commitment to provide a world-class academic, athletic, and social experience.

Some dream about making the world a better place. Wildcats are out there doing it. Every day.

Through intellect and effort, Wildcats thrive, inspiring each other – in the classroom, in competition, and beyond. Driven by a pursuit of excellence, they move the world forward.

When your son or daughter became a Wildcat, so did YOU! With tuition covering only approximately 70% of our operating costs, we rely on a strong alumni base and dedicated families to help us deliver an exceptional educational and athletic experience for all student-athletes, including yours.

The decision as to the size of your gift is a personal one – the important part is that each parent participates in the Parent Partners program. Parents give everywhere from $100 to $1,000,000, and participation at every level is needed and appreciated. When you make a gift via Parent Partners, in combination with the gifts of your fellow parents, it will have a transformative impact on Northwestern Athletics!

We are thrilled with the success of the Wildcat Fund Parent Partners program since we launched in the fall of 2015. Thank you to the many student-athlete parents who have participated so far! For those of you still considering your involvement, we encourage you to explore the online content and learn more about how you can partner with the ’Cats! If you have any questions, or you’re ready to get on board, please contact Chris McFarlane at Christopher.mcfarlane@northwestern.edu or Christian Williams at Christian-williams@northwestern.edu.

Thank you for your support and
Go ’Cats!
