Under head coach Claire Pollard, the Wildcats have been one of the most dominant programs in Big Ten history, claiming a conference regular-season and/or tournament title 16 straight years from 1999-2014.

Funds travel to ensure a competitive national schedule and allow the team to be ranked as highly as possible
Allows the coaches to recruit nationally and internationally and bring the best players to campus
Allows the players to play with the best rackets, string and grips, and to customize a player's rackets when appropriate

Season Highlights from 2017:
Maddie Lipp and Erin Larner earned All-Big Ten recognition while seven individuals earned Academic All-Big Ten recognition.
Northwestern advanced to NCAA tournament play for the 19th straight year and advanced to the second round.
The duo team of Alex Chatt and Maddie Lipp earned a second-consecutive berth the NCAA Doubles Championship and earned a victory to advance to the round of 16.
