Seating Options

Wilson Club: Overlooking the court, the Wilson Club combines the best elements of gameday with an inviting club atmosphere to create an incredible viewing experience in one of the nation's finest arenas. Highlights of the Wilson Club include a private entrance, all-inclusive food and beverage options, a large bar, private restrooms, and coat check. Access to Wilson Club seating begins with a contribution of $6,000 (tax deductibility may vary based on amount of season tickets).

Courtside Seating: Whether you're hosting your family, entertaining clients and employees, or simply enjoying a night out with friends, Northwestern courtside seating offers first-class comfort, amenities and overall entertainment experience. Courtside seats may be purchased in groups of 2 or 4 and also offer access to the Wilson Club. Courtside seats are available to Otto Graham Society members and donors who contribute $12,500 or more annually.

ADA Seating: Welsh-Ryan Arena is a leader in ADA seating and accommodations. ADA seating is available throughout the arena with courtside, Wilson Club, loge, lower and upper level options.

General Seating: General seating in Welsh-Ryan Arena features chair back seats, more leg room between rows, an expansive concourse, and varied concession options throughout the facility. The seating map shows the different general seating options, some of which have a corresponding non-tax deductible annual contribution in addition to the season ticket cost.

General Parking

Welsh-Ryan Arena provides two excellent parking opportunities for season ticket holders.

With lots located to the East and West of the arena, Northwestern Basketball season tickets holders can secure a season parking pass for $170.

Single game parking is limited based on inventory remaining after season passes are sold and costs $15 per game.

Wilson Club Parking

Providing the ultimate experience begins with a prime parking location for each home game.

A reserved section at the center of the West Lot, across from Walker Way, is held for season ticket holders with access to the Wilson Club. The location offers quick access to the Wilson Club arena entrance on the Southwest corner of Welsh-Ryan Arena.

Wilson Club parking passes are available to Wilson Club, courtside and loge season ticket holders for $170.

Frequently Asked Questions

Contributions for men’s basketball seating are due by August 31, the end of Northwestern’s fiscal year.

We have set up a new account under the umbrella of the Wildcat Fund called Seating - Athletics, which is linked to the Wildcat Excellence Fund and provides all the same opportunities as a Wildcat Excellence Fund gift, minus the tax deduction.

In January 2018, Congress enacted the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, which includes provisions that can affect charitable contributions. The new law repealed the deduction for charitable gifts made for the right to purchase seating at college or university athletic events.

The changes in tax legislation affect only the portion of a contribution that provides a donor with the right to purchase tickets and are no longer tax deductible. Contributions to Seating – Athletics accrue Purple Points at the same rate as Wildcat Excellence Fund donations.

Only contributions to Seating – Athletics fulfill the minimum requirement. Your donation to PTR earns you additional Purple Points.

The renewal process begins in late spring, with the seat improvement process to follow in the summer.

Northwestern will periodically provide the opportunity for season ticket holders to improve their seating location.

Yes, your contribution for football parking can count towards basketball seating provided it is allocated to Seating – Athletics. Keep in mind that for basketball seating, all contributions must be made to Seating – Athletics and are non-tax deductible. Contributions for football parking can be given to either the Wildcat Excellence Fund or Seating – Athletics.

Fans may purchase up to six season tickets.

No, in fact, nearly 40% of season tickets do not require a contribution.
