Under head coach Claire Pollard, the Wildcats have been one of the most dominant programs in Big Ten history, claiming a conference regular-season and/or tournament title 16 straight years from 1999-2014.

Funds travel to ensure a competitive national schedule and allow the team to be ranked as highly as possible
Allows the coaches to recruit nationally and internationally and bring the best players to campus
Allows the players to play with the best rackets, string and grips, and to customize a player's rackets when appropriate

Season Highlights from 2018:
Northwestern advanced to NCAA Tournament play for the 20th-straight year. The ’Cats made it to the Round of 16.
A trio of Wildcats — Erin Larner, Maddie Lipp, and Lee Or — were named to the All-Big Ten Team.
In the calendar year of 2018, Larner completed her final singles season with an impressive 18-3 mark.
Larner and Lipp also advanced to the NCAA Doubles Championship. The duo cemented All-America status in doubles based on their top-eight seed in the tournament.
