One endowment

to support the future of northwestern cross country & track

Thanks to the generosity of an anonymous donor, Northwestern is excited to announce the first-ever NU Cross Country & Track Endowed Fund. This fund will provide a sustainable source of revenue for cross country, indoor track, and outdoor track while providing student-athletes with a complete academic and athletic experience at Northwestern.

This first-of-its-kind endowment will provide an annual payout of roughly 5% to support Coach Jill Miller and her staff. The endowment could also be used in full should the program embark on future capital projects, such as building an outdoor track on campus.

In 2026, Women's Indoor Track and Women's Outdoor Track will return to Northwestern, becoming the school's 20th and 21st varsity sport.
